LTCS Scheme for motor accident injuries
The Lifetime Care and Support Scheme provides people who have been catastrophically injured in motor accidents in the ACT with treatment, rehabilitation and care.
Who is eligible
The Scheme will apply to persons who sustain a catastrophic injury resulting from a motor accident, regardless of fault, that occurs in the ACT from 1 July 2014.
How to apply
You can apply to become a participant in the Lifetime Care and Support Scheme.
What we pay for
The Lifetime Care and Support Scheme pays for a range of treatment, rehabilitation, care and support services, but they must be ‘reasonable and necessary’ and ‘injury-related’.

You have the right to dispute the decision about eligibility for the Scheme.

How is the scheme funded
The scheme is funded by a levy which has been decided by the ACT Lifetime Care and Support Commissioner.
