The Treasury have appointed Nous Group, a consulting firm, to conduct consultations and prepare a report for the Three-Year Review into the ACT Motor Accident Injuries Scheme. As part of the review, they will be seeking feedback through a series of engagements for applicants and claimants with lived experience of the MAI Scheme. The engagements will take place between Monday 31 August and Friday 18 September.
The ACT Motor Accident Injuries (MAI) Scheme is administered by the MAI Commission. The scheme aims to provide:
The purpose of the engagements is for you to provide feedback on your scheme experience. The Nous team will facilitate a safe discussion, during which we encourage you to share your experiences getting support from MAI insurers and the Nominal Defendant. Your participation will be kept confidential, and what you share will have no impact on any current or future claims you may have.
