Woden Weston and Molonglo

Infrastructure projects for Woden, Weston Creek and Molonglo will support economic activity and jobs within the industry.  These projects promote activity to create a healthier community and improve facilities and living standards in the community to build a fairer and more equitable city.

There are also projects that assist in up-skilling and educating our community and improve the amenity of our city to make Canberra a more liveable and accessible place to reside and work.

A Fairer Canberra

• $7.5 million for construction of Holder Early Childhood Centre.
• $0.550 million feasibility for Woden/Weston Creek Community Hub.

A Strong Diverse Economy

• $72 million for John Gorton Drive Extension to Molonglo 2 and Group Centre.
• $28.5 million for North Weston – Road Intersection Reconstruction.
• $17 million for the construction of Molonglo 2 – Uriarra Road Upgrade.
• $12.4 million for the construction for Molonglo 2 – Sewer and Pedestrian Bridge over Molonglo River.
• $10 million for Molonglo 2 – Water Supply, Trunk Sewer and Stormwater Infrastructure – Stage 1.
• $7.150 million for Transport for Canberra – Cotter Road Improvements.
• $3.5 million for the construction of Molonglo 2 – Trunk Sewer and Stormwater Infrastructure from Holdens Creek.
• $1.570 million for Molonglo Valley – Finalisation of Stage 2 and Commencement of Stage 3 Planning (Feasibility).
• $1.080 million for Cotter Road Duplication Stage 2 – Yarralumla Creek Bridge to Tuggeranong Parkway (Design).
• $1 million for Molonglo 2 – Water Supply, Trunk Sewer and Stormwater Infrastructure – Stage 2 (Design).
• $0.460 million for the design of Woden Stormwater Infrastructure.
• $0.450 million for Molonglo – East-West Arterial Road and Extension of John Gorton Drive to Molonglo River (Feasibility).
• $0.3 million for Molonglo – North-South Arterial Road Bridge and Pedestrian Bridge (Feasibility).
• $0.253 million for Uriarra Road Upgrade (Design).
• $0.250 million for Wright Outer Asset Protection Zone – Stromlo Forest Park.
