Capital Works Program
The Government is delivering a Capital Works Program of $1.7 billion over the four years to 2020‑21.
The Capital Works Program includes:
- new projects approved in the 2017-18 Budget;
- work-in-progress on projects commenced in previous years;
- improvements to existing infrastructure under the Better Infrastructure Fund (BIF), to extend the useful life, or improve the delivery capacity, of existing physical assets; and
- ICT and Plant and Equipment (P&E) expenditure that is enabling investment to better facilitate government service delivery in the Territory.
